Prague has been chosen as the best student city in Europe, according to the ranking made by Campus Advisor. The Czech capital stands out for its safety, cultural life and public transportation, beating cities such as Paris, London and Berlin.
What is the problem?
Prague has been recognized as the most attractive student city in Europe, according to a report by Campus Advisor. The Czech capital topped the ranking for its affordability, safety and dynamic student life, beating cities such as London, Paris and Berlin. The data is based on the opinions of students who have lived in these cities.

According to Brian Moran, Prague’s success in this ranking is due to its outstanding performance in several key areas that students value most.
“Prague has excelled in every category of our survey, which has allowed it to rise to the top of the rankings” Moran.
With around 45 public and private universities, Prague also stood out for the efficiency of its public transport system, ranking fifth, and for its vibrant cultural offerings and student activities, allowing young people to enjoy a dynamic life at an affordable cost.
Although the Czech capital topped the rankings and scored high in multiple categories, not everything was perfect. In terms of cost of living, for example, Prague ranked 16th, behind cheaper cities such as Krakow and Budapest. Furthermore, in the category of cultural diversity, the city ranked 19th, indicating that, while welcoming, it does not have the same multiculturalism as other major European cities such as London or Amsterdam.
Despite these points, Prague has consolidated its place as one of the most attractive destinations for international students, demonstrating that it offers an enriching and balanced educational experience, without the high costs found in other European capitals.
